# Under Trees vs Tag Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Under Trees at every 8 days against Tag Diary's every 5 weeks. Under Trees also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Under Trees sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Tag Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Under Trees ships an update every 8 days, Tag Diary every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
