# Mino vs JustNote

The clearest difference is rating: JustNote at 5.0 against Mino's 4.7. Mino's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mino sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and JustNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JustNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 36 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Mino's written reviews are positive against 91% of JustNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mino ships an update every 6 days, JustNote fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
