# 三省 vs 柠檬笔记

The clearest difference is update cadence: 柠檬笔记 at every 10 days against 三省's every 6 months. 柠檬笔记 also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 三省 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 柠檬笔记 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

三省 ships an update every 6 months, 柠檬笔记 every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
