# 三省 vs Flash Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flash Notes at every 4 days against 三省's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 三省 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Flash Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
