# 三省 vs CourseNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: CourseNote at every 9 days against 三省's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 三省 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CourseNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

三省 ships an update every 6 months, CourseNote every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
