# Step Tracker vs Walk Flower

The clearest difference is ads: Walk Flower at none against Step Tracker's shown. Walk Flower also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). Step Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (177 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Tracker sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Walk Flower sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Step Tracker against 4.5 for Walk Flower. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Step Tracker has 177 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Step Tracker's written reviews are positive against 75% of Walk Flower's.

Step Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Walk Flower daily. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
