# Lingo7 vs Magibook

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Magibook at 3.5K against Lingo7's 6. Magibook also leads on chart position (#85 vs unranked). Lingo7's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingo7 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Magibook sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Lingo7 against 4.7 for Magibook. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magibook has 3.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Lingo7's written reviews are positive against 76% of Magibook's.

Lingo7 ships an update every 2 days, Magibook every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
