# Pike vs Funqtion

Pike and Funqtion both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pike's written reviews are positive against 60% of Funqtion's. Funqtion's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pike holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funqtion has 91 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Pike's written reviews are positive against 60% of Funqtion's.

Pike ships an update monthly, Funqtion every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
