# SSH VPN vs JSON Scope

The clearest difference is chart position: SSH VPN at #166 against JSON Scope's unranked. SSH VPN also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSH VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and JSON Scope sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
