# Blue Collar Firemen vs FirePumpSim

The clearest difference is update cadence: FirePumpSim at weekly against Blue Collar Firemen's every 2 months. FirePumpSim also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Blue Collar Firemen's advantage is ratings volume (60 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blue Collar Firemen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and FirePumpSim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
