# FtyCam vs PIX

The clearest difference is ads: PIX at none against FtyCam's shown. PIX also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). FtyCam's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FtyCam ships an update monthly, PIX every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
