# FtyCam vs Drop

The clearest difference is rating: Drop at 5.0 against FtyCam's 1.9. Drop also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). FtyCam's advantage is ratings volume (183 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Drop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FtyCam has 183 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FtyCam ships an update monthly, Drop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
