# Motivation Cookie vs ActsOfKindness

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ActsOfKindness at 100% against Motivation Cookie's 48%. ActsOfKindness also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Motivation Cookie's advantage is ratings volume (88 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motivation Cookie sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and ActsOfKindness sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ActsOfKindness holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motivation Cookie has 88 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
