# Function Health vs Nutri AI Gut

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nutri AI Gut at 100% against Function Health's 62%. Nutri AI Gut also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Function Health's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (25K vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nutri AI Gut sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Function Health asks for nothing beyond the download.

Function Health holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Function Health has 25K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Function Health's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nutri AI Gut's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Function Health ships an update weekly, Nutri AI Gut every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
