# Multi vs Egg Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Egg Timer at none against Multi's 1. Multi's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Egg Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Multi ships an update every 3 months, Egg Timer every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
