# Uget vs Tez

The clearest difference is rating: Uget at 5.0 against Tez's 3.6. Uget also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Tez's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Uget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tez has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Uget ships an update every 7 months, Tez every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
