# Cat Journey vs Suzy Cube Halfbrick+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cat Journey at free with in-app purchases against Suzy Cube Halfbrick+'s subscription. Cat Journey also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Suzy Cube Halfbrick+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cat Journey sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Suzy Cube Halfbrick+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cat Journey holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Cat Journey's written reviews are positive against 100% of Suzy Cube Halfbrick+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cat Journey ships an update every 3 weeks, Suzy Cube Halfbrick+ daily. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
