# Sticky Note Widget vs HomeVue

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sticky Note Widget at free with in-app purchases against HomeVue's subscription. HomeVue's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Note Widget sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and HomeVue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sticky Note Widget against 4.9 for HomeVue. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeVue has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sticky Note Widget ships an update monthly, HomeVue weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
