# Octafood | أوكتافود vs V

Octafood | أوكتافود and V both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of V's written reviews are positive against 50% of Octafood | أوكتافود's. V also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Octafood | أوكتافود's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Octafood | أوكتافود holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 82 and 160 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Octafood | أوكتافود's written reviews are positive against 88% of V's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Octafood | أوكتافود ships an update every 2 months, V every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
