# ANT BMS V2 vs BMS

The clearest difference is rating: BMS at 5.0 against ANT BMS V2's 3.6. ANT BMS V2's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (32% vs 20%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BMS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ANT BMS V2 has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of ANT BMS V2's written reviews are positive against 20% of BMS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ANT BMS V2 ships an update every 11 days, BMS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
