# Insight vs Thomacky

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thomacky at none against Insight's 21. Thomacky also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Insight's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and chart position (#128 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Insight sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Thomacky asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thomacky holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Insight has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
