# The French Room vs Offscript

The clearest difference is update cadence: Offscript at every 3 weeks against The French Room's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The French Room sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Offscript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The French Room ships an update every 2 months, Offscript every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
