# Voicepal vs HookForge

The clearest difference is ads: HookForge at none against Voicepal's shown. Voicepal's advantage is ratings volume (650 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voicepal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and HookForge sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Voicepal against 5.0 for HookForge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voicepal has 650 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
