# Echo Notes vs David

The clearest difference is update cadence: Echo Notes at every 2 days against David's every 2 weeks. Echo Notes also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Echo Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and David sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
