# Task vs TermBuddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Task at every 8 days against TermBuddy's every 3 weeks. Task also leads on iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months and TermBuddy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
