# Task vs Mokido

The clearest difference is rating: Mokido at 5.0 against Task's 4.4. Mokido also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). Task's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Mokido sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mokido holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Task has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Task ships an update every 8 days, Mokido every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
