# Cap Player vs Vivo Player

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Vivo Player at 1K against Cap Player's 2. Vivo Player also leads on review sentiment (84% vs 63%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cap Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vivo Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vivo Player holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vivo Player has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Cap Player's written reviews are positive against 84% of Vivo Player's.

Cap Player ships an update every 2 months, Vivo Player every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
