# RedShort vs DramaS

The clearest difference is ads: RedShort at none against DramaS's shown. RedShort also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 67%). DramaS's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RedShort sells 26 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and DramaS sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DramaS holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 834 and 747 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of RedShort's written reviews are positive against 67% of DramaS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RedShort ships an update every 11 days, DramaS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
