# Trenago vs IDF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IDF at none against Trenago's 9. IDF also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). Trenago's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trenago sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. IDF asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trenago ships an update every 5 days, IDF every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
