# PDF read aloud vs TeleView

The clearest difference is rating: TeleView at 5.0 against PDF read aloud's 4.3. TeleView also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). PDF read aloud's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF read aloud sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and TeleView sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TeleView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF read aloud has 43 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

PDF read aloud ships an update fortnightly, TeleView every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
