# GPS Brasil vs Offline Map Navigation

GPS Brasil and Offline Map Navigation both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of GPS Brasil's written reviews are positive against 14% of Offline Map Navigation's. Offline Map Navigation's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (315 vs 23). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Brasil sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Offline Map Navigation sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPS Brasil holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Offline Map Navigation has 315 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of GPS Brasil's written reviews are positive against 14% of Offline Map Navigation's.

GPS Brasil ships an update every 4 months, Offline Map Navigation fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
