# Superfluent vs Passive Spanish

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Superfluent at 3.6K against Passive Spanish's 6. Superfluent also leads on chart position (#120 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superfluent sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Passive Spanish sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Superfluent against 5.0 for Passive Spanish. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superfluent has 3.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Superfluent's written reviews are positive against 100% of Passive Spanish's.
