# Superfluent vs Aurelia

The clearest difference is monetization model: Aurelia at free against Superfluent's free with in-app purchases. Aurelia also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Superfluent's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 20) and chart position (#158 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superfluent sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Aurelia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Superfluent against 5.0 for Aurelia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superfluent has 3.7K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Superfluent's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aurelia's.

Superfluent ships an update every 6 days, Aurelia every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
