# Superfluent vs Polyo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Polyo at none against Superfluent's 12. Superfluent's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superfluent sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Polyo asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Superfluent against 5.0 for Polyo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superfluent has 3.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Superfluent's written reviews are positive against 100% of Polyo's.

Superfluent ships an update every 6 days, Polyo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
