# Spatialify vs Unsqueeze

The clearest difference is price: Unsqueeze at Free against Spatialify's $2.99. Unsqueeze also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0). Spatialify's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On ratings volume, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Unsqueeze is free to download; Spatialify costs $2.99 up front. Unsqueeze sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Spatialify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Unsqueeze holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 63 and 117 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Spatialify's written reviews are positive against 52% of Unsqueeze's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spatialify ships an update every 3 weeks, Unsqueeze every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
