# AR Trace, Draw & Sketch vs Drawing cup

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AR Trace, Draw & Sketch at 100% against Drawing cup's 65%. Drawing cup's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.8) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR Trace, Draw & Sketch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Drawing cup sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawing cup holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of AR Trace, Draw & Sketch's written reviews are positive against 65% of Drawing cup's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AR Trace, Draw & Sketch ships an update every 2 months, Drawing cup monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
