# Fit Battalion vs Coherence

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fit Battalion at free with in-app purchases against Coherence's subscription. Fit Battalion also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Coherence's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fit Battalion sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fit Battalion holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 642 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Fit Battalion's written reviews are positive against 85% of Coherence's.

Fit Battalion ships an update fortnightly, Coherence every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
