# Mahjong Training vs The Historian

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Historian at none against Mahjong Training's 1. The Historian also leads on ads (none vs shown). Mahjong Training's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.4). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mahjong Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. The Historian asks for nothing beyond the download.
