# Strive Planner vs RMPlanner

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Strive Planner at 58 against RMPlanner's 1. Strive Planner also leads on device support (4 vs 2). RMPlanner's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and RMPlanner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.79 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RMPlanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strive Planner has 58 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Strive Planner ships an update every 9 days, RMPlanner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
