# Conversatum vs Smart Noter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Conversatum at 100% against Smart Noter's 41%. Conversatum also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Smart Noter's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conversatum sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.00 per month and Smart Noter sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Conversatum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Noter has 2.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Conversatum's written reviews are positive against 41% of Smart Noter's.

Conversatum ships an update every 2 months, Smart Noter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
