# Authenticator vs Find Lost Pods

The clearest difference is rating: Authenticator at 4.3 against Find Lost Pods's 4.0. Find Lost Pods's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 14 months vs every 33 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Authenticator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Find Lost Pods sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Authenticator holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 90 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Authenticator's written reviews are positive against 14% of Find Lost Pods's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Authenticator ships an update every 33 months, Find Lost Pods every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
