# 99math vs Minimal Pairs Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Minimal Pairs Pro at 5.0 against 99math's 4.2. Minimal Pairs Pro also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 weeks). 99math's advantage is ratings volume (331 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 99math sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Minimal Pairs Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
