# FirstTracks vs Log Your Log

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FirstTracks at none against Log Your Log's 3. FirstTracks also leads on ratings volume (28 vs 4). Log Your Log's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Log Your Log sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. FirstTracks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Log Your Log holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FirstTracks has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

FirstTracks ships an update every 2 months, Log Your Log every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
