# Karing vs sing

Karing and sing both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of sing's written reviews are positive against 74% of Karing's. Karing's advantage is ratings volume (679 vs 120). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Karing against 4.6 for sing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Karing has 679 ratings behind it against 120, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Karing's written reviews are positive against 92% of sing's.

Karing ships an update fortnightly, sing every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
