# eSign PDF Sign Documents vs Pentimento

The clearest difference is rating: Pentimento at 5.0 against eSign PDF Sign Documents's 4.2. Pentimento also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). eSign PDF Sign Documents's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eSign PDF Sign Documents sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Pentimento sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pentimento holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eSign PDF Sign Documents has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
