# AI Assistant vs Babble

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI Assistant at weekly against Babble's every 6 months. AI Assistant also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Assistant sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Babble sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Assistant ships an update weekly, Babble every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
