# Neon PC Remote Play vs Pylux

The clearest difference is rating: Neon PC Remote Play at 5.0 against Pylux's 4.2. Pylux's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neon PC Remote Play sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Pylux sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Neon PC Remote Play holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pylux has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Neon PC Remote Play ships an update weekly, Pylux every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
