# Apple Invites vs Nintendo Today!

The clearest difference is rating: Apple Invites at 4.7 against Nintendo Today!'s 4.3. Apple Invites also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 1K) and chart position (#56 vs unranked). Nintendo Today!'s advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 42%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Apple Invites holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apple Invites has 22K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Apple Invites's written reviews are positive against 62% of Nintendo Today!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Apple Invites ships an update monthly, Nintendo Today! every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
