# FontKey vs TipMate

The clearest difference is update cadence: TipMate at every 3 weeks against FontKey's every 3 months. TipMate also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FontKey ships an update every 3 months, TipMate every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
