# AFT Aroma vs Cloud Scent

The clearest difference is rating: Cloud Scent at 2.3 against AFT Aroma's 1.3. Cloud Scent also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). AFT Aroma's advantage is ratings volume (74 vs 3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cloud Scent holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AFT Aroma has 74 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of AFT Aroma's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cloud Scent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AFT Aroma ships an update every 10 days, Cloud Scent monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
